Solo Aging is a rising subset of our aging population with over one in five persons over 60 meeting the definition. Without ready family as caregivers Solo Agers must plan for their unique situations, and it does not help that the public and many providers do not yet recognize them nor grasp their challenges. This presentation provides an overview of the demographic, their challenges, and solutions, and will have you thinking how we as professionals may work in concert toward the best outcomes for this burgeoning demographic.
